I have edited this message to let you all know that I have G’s and C’s left. All out of D’s. (Dale, this isn’t a commercial enterprise. It’s more a Santa Clause thing). BTW, Mars Music (where I bought the flutes) is going out of business in Dallas and has a sale on today and tomorrow. End of edit.

All the flutes that were on order have been shipped. G’s and C’s will take about 3 days, this includes the one for Alaska. D’s will take about a week. I wasn’t able to give everyone their first choice on engraving, but I came close in all cases. I decided to buy out the stores inventory, so I still have stock.

Many thanks to Tom for the beautiful ivy covered crystal flute and display stand. It’s beautiful and is fun to play.

Tom, finding these, offering them to board members and taking your time to get these out is much appreciated.

I’ve obviously missed something here…lots of lapses in my C&F time. I assume we’re talking Hall’s crystal flutes since I have one with the ivy. My question - how do you keep from condensation buildup within seconds. Have always wanted to know.

I used to use a crystal mouthpiece on clarinet and had problems with condensation. My teacher had me spray Pam?(spray on cooking grease) on its inside and never had any trouble after. Maybe it will work for crystal flutes as well.

Yippee!! Mine came today! I’m so excited… THANK YOU TOM!! I ended up with the Carolina model, even though the label said Dandelion. :smiley: It’s beautiful though! Now if I can just get the embouchure right so that I can play a decent note. LOL I’m having difficulties hitting the low C and D…but I’ll keep practicing.

I now have dreams of a nice Irish flute… I think WHOA is expanding into other areas. EEK!! What would the acronym for that be? :stuck_out_tongue:
