Alba whistles

I’m new here, first post. Some time ago (perhaps a month) someone asked about Alba whistles. The one or two responses “suggested” that the Alba whistles did not have the sound quality that hard core whistlers have come to expect. As I am considering buying an Alba low C, (the metal one, not the funny plasticy one), any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.
