I finally received today from Stacey at Alba Whistles my new Alba Vibe Low C,
and it is just AWESOME .
The sound is wonderful, deep and clear, haunting and full of personality, the
intonation is perfect and the playability superb. The finger spacing is not much bigger than
a low D and I did not have a problem in adjusting.
What a great instrument. Considering the price ( with the current exchange rate between
the Dollar and the British Pound, I paid less than $ 140.00 shipped !) I think this is one of the best value in the market.

There is breathiness but not as much as I thought. I also have a new Vibe in D, recently made, and compared to a Vibe in low D that I had one year ago, I believe that there has been some improvement in Stacey’s design..Both the low C and low D whistles sound awesome, powerful, with the right degree of
breathiness. I really like them.
