Hi all!
I recently acquired a lovely Low D (thank you Steve and Cillian) and it has renewed my interest in slow airs. I know that many of these are actually songs and I was hoping to find some lyrics on the net. Any suggestions? Most of the resources I have found are sheet music with the occasional nod to chords, but slim on lyrics.

This is a large site covering lots of flavours of traditional music, but has a nice section on Ireland, and has incorporated Barry Taylor’s Tunebook. Nelson includes the history of the tune and lyrics, if they are available. There is also an in-site search feature.
A place to start … I’m sure there are more!
