Aging, falling faces and whistling

Hi all,
Are we helping or hurting our faces by all the blowing.
I am 58 and I admit my face has fallen and can’t get up.
Does all the blowing every day HURT or HELP our face muscles???
Your opinion please, Lolly

I’d say it’s a trade-off:

Your face falls but the fun you have extends your life. I’ll keep whistling!

Susan

Whistle induced smiling is good for your face

I’ve been buying beer legally for well over half my life, but I still get carded now and then. I don’t think whistling has prematurely aged me.

Using facial muscles is helpful, not the opposite.

Dontcha just love that? Some places around here card EVERYONE as a matter of course, but at age 53, I want to kiss the clerk when they ask me for my ID!

Funny how when you’re 16 it really cheeses you off, then when you’re just legal, you want to get carded every time, then it’s kind of a slap in the face for a few years, then, sometime in your 30’s it becomes outright flattering.

i just don’t worry about these things anymore.
i turned so f***ing ugly, that all of a sudden, i started to look handsome

How can whistling age your face more than plain ol’ gravity? If you play trumpet you may get puffed out cheeks like Louis Armstrong, but whistling seems hardly more strenuous than most normal facial functions such as drinking through a straw or speaking. I think age and genetics will do what they will, with the whistling contributing nigh well nothin’.

Wear sunscreen. And don’t smoke. Those are the worst face wreckers.

When I start playing, it’s not my face that falls.

Hair gone and what’s left is gray! Original teeth gone! More of me it seems is slowly sinking towards our final destination…a lot of huffing on the whistle and flute won’t make that much more a difference.

Gravity wins!

Let the others worry about their own faces!

Its those stages of life.
They ask you for Id
They ask you if you want the seniors discount
They give you the seniors discount without asking

Keep whistling it will prevent aging. At least you will feel younger.
