Advice for purchasing a high D as loud as a Shaw

Any advice would be appreciated for this relative newbie… I’ve tried several of the below $50 tin whistles people advice to buy and haven’t been really satisfied with the quality of the sound… The Shaw high D comes the closest (altho, I think it’s considered mid-range in price). What I like about the Shaw is the amount of breath it takes (I’m in this partly for lung rehab, and also like the tactile sensation of using more breath than most high-D’s take), and also the loudness. Any higher end whistle like a Shaw in these respects, but with even better sound? Reyburn? Burke? Chieftain or Kerry? thanks! Eric

I should add… after reading a review about the Chieftain, which apparently is Really loud and takes more breath, I don’t this is the one… they said it also comes with such large holes that make it hard to play, or at least take getting used to… I have a very thin frame, tried another very large-bore whistle that didn’t work for me… Funny, the Shaw seems to achieve loudness and more breath without the large bore, so I assume it can be done…
