I think he does make 8-keyed flutes.
I can’t tell you price or time because his site has been closed down for a while now.
a friend from Asturias has a 6 key flute made by him and is currently waiting for a fully keyed footjoint. so I guess he could do that for you. the waiting time was about 15 months, maybe now it’s a little more.
Hi diego!
I just seen that you are from Chile and you play Asturian music, that’s interesting.. do you have an Asturian community in Chile? there’s a big Asturian community in other central and southern American countries such as Cuba. back in the '20 and '30 there were gaiteros in L’Havana, even professional musicians that earned their living by playing Asturian music there..
Hi Michel !
Well there is a lot of Asturian culture here in Chile, from a lot of inmigrants and their sons, or grandsons of people who came a lot of years ago.
There’s a very good Asturian pipe band in Santiago, and also a very good one in Valparaíso. Master pipers like “Guti” or “Tejedor” and “Pravianu” come regularly to Chile to get these bands up to date.
Regarding the flute, I started my interest with this incredible instrument listening to Llan de Cubel (Marcos Llope on the Flute), then Felpeyu (Diego Pangua), Corquiéu (Dani Álvarez) and DRD (The great Borja Baragaño). Hehe my starts and first interest with the Wooden Flute were regarding Asturian and Gaita music, instead of irish trad, etc..
Well, Asturian music is very familiar to Breton, I could say they are “cousins”.. so I got in love with Breton music easily.
Regarding my personal repertoire I usually play Irish and Breton, but in my band we are fully dedicated to Asturian and Breton music as an ensamble (Without forgeting that Irish legacy is always present, as a fact on ornamentation, or influence, etc).
I hope to hear more from you!

Hi Diego!
indeed the friend I mentioned earlier on who’s waiting the keyed footjoint from Morvan is Diego Pangua, the flute player with Felpeyu. He’s a great friend of mine! I have to tell him that Felpeyos have fans in Chile!
i think eliot on this board has a keyed one for sale (now that he got his new keyed Olwell),
i believe it’s an R&R model and has a great tone…very easy player as well.
BTW - he may have a keyless Pratten Olwell for sale as well? worth checking out ![]()
