Yup… and some genuinely don’t give a hoot what anyone else thinks… it’s about what they like.
I happen to love that about very creative folk… you never can tell by looking at them just who and what they really are.

Interesting… I would probably not want to date him… Too sweaty.
Here’s the band’s website: http://www.subwaytosally.de/
They’re a bit on the raunchy side (in my opinion) or maybe you’d call that angry rock? No, not really, maybe goth? Um, I don’t know… what is that anyway? but I see a bit of celtic influence in their music. It’s all in German, I don’t understand a word on their website (except where it said Real Player).
Wow. Alley Oop shaved his head (anyone remember that comic strip?).
He’s just shirtless. What…you guys have a problem with shirtlessness? .
Maybe they’re suffering from shirtless envy? ![]()

I think that’s it.
He’s just shirtless. What…you guys have a problem with shirtlessness? Is that it? Huh? 'Fess up. I don’t think he looks so outlandish…a little paunchy maybe…but that’s not a crime.
And heck, I like a man with a little meat on his bones. These German boys look well fed and they play whistles. What more could a girl want? ![]()
Peace,

Since nobody picked up on my earlier hint, does anybody else remember this:

Funny. I could have sworn the chorus was: Alley-oop poop, poop poop.
Ray Stevens?
Ray Stevens?
The Hollywood Argyles. Number one on Billboard, July 11, 1960. Written by Dallas Frazier if things that atavistic actually get ‘written.’
Dontcha just love that midi file? I can’t wait to hear their versions of Louie Louie and Satisfaction.
Ray Stevens’s cover.
Ray Stevens’s cover.
I suppose it’s been covered by a lot of people. Back in 1960, three versions charted simultaneously and nobody knows which was the original and which the covers. Dante and The Evergreens had a version that reached about 15 and came out in the same week as the Holywood Argyles. The Dyna Sores also had a version that got to about 60.
I think even the Beach Boys did a cover… but they even recorded “Long Tall Texan.”
