I think it looks uglier than those yucky gold diamonds on the Clarks! Tacky! Or would you want it just to have it?
In the Cheap Whistles part of the main page, Dale talks about Cooperman whistles and mentions the American Fife, which is supposedly just a very patriotic paintjob on a very unremarkable whistle.
I have a regular Cooperman. I let my son use it for a drumstick. I don’t really care for it. The one on ebay looks similar, but I can’t really tell if it is the same thing.

I have one of these which I bought quite a few years ago in an antique store. It’s not a bad whistle at all. Clarke style, with a wooden fipple, pitched in C. Mine played just fine with no tweaking at all, but who knows about this one? In today’s patriotic mode, this could be a popular item.
