Here’s a shot of the Comet 17P/Holmes I took tonight from my back yard here in El Cajon about 25 miles east of San Diego. I’m using a Nikon D70 digital SLR with a 80-200 mm Nikon f2.8 zoom lens, the camera and lens mounted on top of a Celestron C11 scope as a tracking drive. 30 second exposure at ASA 200

Cheers,

Michael

That’s a better shot than some of the astronomy websites. Way to go, Eskin.
