Here is a fun fact that I came aross as I did a little web lurking. From the American Recorder Sociaty site . . .
“Henry VIII was skilled in music and owned 76 recorders at the time of his death in 1547.”
WHOA is obviously very old, well diagnosed and been spreading since Elizabethian times.
Pretty funny . . . wonder if he owned them as a collection or cut off their heads in order to buy a new one. Yikes! 
-and among lots of other instruments he had 78 flutes and 5 sets of bagpipes as well. 
A big case of WhOA fer sure. 
Can that even hold a candle to those pictures of JessieK’s instruments, though?

It’s a little known historical ‘fact’ that he ended up with six wives because they kept complaining -“What- You bought ANOTHER recorder? !!!”
He was also the original Tweaker -“OFF with it’s HEAD!!”
