Here is a fun fact that I came aross as I did a little web lurking. From the American Recorder Sociaty site . . .
“Henry VIII was skilled in music and owned 76 recorders at the time of his death in 1547.”
WHOA is obviously very old, well diagnosed and been spreading since Elizabethian times.
Pretty funny . . . wonder if he owned them as a collection or cut off their heads in order to buy a new one. Yikes!
