We’ve researched some possible ways to resolve the crisis and identified one avenue that might work. There will be an important meeting on Wednesday, May 18 at 10:00 EDT that could open a door to getting this mess settled. If that turns out to be a false hope, we’ll be really scared, but it does look like a good possible solution, so we’ve got our fingers crossed. Even if the meeting goes well, it will take some time to get everything to fall in place, so we won’t know the final outcome for some time after.
During the past two and a half weeks, we’ve spent considerable time navigating through several layers of negotiations on several fronts, and everything’s falling into place. What might have become a disaster is turning out well.
Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. They matter.
Best wishes,
Jerry

Maria, a beautiful five year old Guatamalan girl will be arriving home to join our family on Tuesday. The household’s atwitter. That makes seven. Arleen promised we’d stop at five, but she doesn’t remember that.
