a question

Someone who gets hurt in war or an accident is a casualty. So, if a guy gets hurt while wearing a tuxedo, is he a formality?

Oh, that was really bad…

Thanks. It came to me in a dream.

 Oh, that’s bad!

‘He that would make a pun would pick a pocket,’ said Stephen, ‘and that miserable quibble is not even a pun, but a vile clench.’ – Patrick O’Brian (The Far Side of the World, Ch. 4)

Badger pundit.

Someone who gets hurt in war or an accident is a casualty.

Surely someone who gets hurt for wearing a T-shirt and jeans would be a ‘casualty’?
If it happened at a university they would then be classified as a faculty?

…or, if you are a regular patient in an ambulance you become known for your hospitality?

A casualty gets hurt by accident, in a one-off incident. Deliberate and prolonged pain is property.
