a question about a "BARNETT SAMUEL&SON"- band

Hi

my name is Noam and i m from Israel.
Two years ago i baught in new zealand what appears to be a BS band flute in a leather case. ever since I’m trying to find out more information about it and maybe reconstruct it (it is not in a playing condition but in the right hands i think it can be recontructed).
The flute itself has 11 holes (5 of them are mechnicly controlled) and Its model, I think, is “LONDON IMPROUVED B”.

I have pictures of the flute but i dont know how to advertise them here…
I was wondering if you can tell me more about the instrument or refer me to the right person…

If you Gooogle the flute makers name there is quite a bit of info on him.
Terry McGee said he learned the flute on one of thoses flutes. So ou might contact him, as he is in your neck of the woods.

Terry says it is a pretty good player, I do not know of any Flute makers in Isreal. What you have is also called a Fife. I notice you are from Raanana I once had exchange students from there stay at my house.
