This month, I was surprised to realize I had one more clarke than I thought.
I bought this whistle at an auction years ago:
What you can’t tell from this picture is that the seam on the bottom is sealed with copious amounts of solder.
It was only after getting a 15 year old Clarke</a]( http://chiffboard.mati.ca/viewtopic.php?t=25922">Clarke</a )> that I noticed the similarities. Then, I noticed the inside of the my mystery whistle:
Holy cr@p! Someone re-rolled the whistle inside out! The funny thing is, this is one of the best playing whistles in my collection.
Either that, or the painted metal blank got turned upside-down in the factory before the machine rolled it into a whistle. Either way, that’s

What does the inside of the Bore look like? I s a piece of metal sticking straight up, as if rolled using a mandrel, like the normal clarke whistles?
I would say it was a mixup at the factory. Extremely cool whistle.
