A new goodie...

Hi. This was my project for tonight. It is a little flute in the key of C. I told all about it in the flute forum if anybody wants to read it:

I just wanted to show it off to all my whistle friends who may not also ready the flute forum.

Best,

Looks nice. So exactly how long have you been setting out to make flutes and whistles? I’m impressed. This is especially true given that I am challenged when it comes to building or making things that take any kind of finesse.

Keith,

I took a class this semester called Music for Elementary Teachers which is required for my education major. This course has basically consisted of learning music and learning to play the recorder. As I have been learning music and the recorder in class, I have been playing and making various whistles and flutes in my own time recreationally. I guess that means in answer to your question I have been setting out to make flutes and whistles since about August. I realize that I am still very much a novice in whistle playing and whistle making, but both endeavors have provided me with hours of enjoyment and entertainment.

It is so easy to make Flutes from water piping that I wonder why more folks don’t make them.
