As an addition to the current C&F emoticon choices, I’d like to nominate another. In effect, it looks like a smiley face eating popcorn from a bag of popcorn, and I’ve seen it abbreviated as 
on other boards.
It appears to suggest that a person employing it could be simply watching, as a member of an audience, so to speak.
Perhaps it could be useful, for instance, after somebody has thrown a muffin, and while waiting for somebody else to respond, ahem.

I have felt deprived ever since The Management took away the eye-rolling emoticon. I believe I may have mentioned this before.
I also like the one looking down, shaking his head. I don’t have permission to grab icons out of Denny’s source directory.

Could someone make sure the popcorn is low sodium and just a smidgen of real unsalted butter? 
As you can see hypertension makes me a little red in the face.
It seems kind of weird to me. The popcorn guy is often used as an entire post, where other emoticons are used to clarify the persons meaning the same way that voice inflections in speech do.
And how, fer cryin’ out loud can you have a pub without one of these?

As I understand, this is exactly why PHP boards got rid of the
eyeroll emoticon. Too many posts of just an eyeroll smiley.

Did PHP boards get rid of it? I think it was just HERE. Reason being I have a PHP board, myself, and it’s got the eye-roll emoticon on it. Along with some other nice goodies.
