A Jackalope of sorts?

Has anyone out there ever run across a Cocus Murray Flute??? I’ve not run across any yet, in person or by word of mouth, curious.

Now if someone out there happens to have one they might be talked out of, please send me a PM.

Didn’t you have the problem with cocus? Or was that someone else?

BillG

Yeah, I did have problems with cocus sensitivity, when I had my cocus Olwell, however I believe I’ve learned how to deal with those issues now, and after playing another Cocus flute over the last month or so, I’ve become more convinced than ever that cocus is the wood for me, tonally speaking.

In addition, I’ve also recently run across a couple of Murray flutes that really suit me from a playabilty standpoint, so I’d be willing to roll the dice with the reactivity if I could find the right Cocus flute.

Never did see a cocus Murray, but I probably mentioned a while back that I had seen an “African Boxwood” Murray that was red. Absolutely the most feather-lite flute imaginable.
