the not moon bright thing is Jupiter
if you go to the full sized picture you can see two moons
I see 4. The Galilean Moons I suspect. Easily be seen with just plain ol’ 7x35mm Binocs. Although I like my 8x40mm ones better. If you have really sharp vision, and a clear, minimal turbulant sky, you should be able to see the 4 moons with the naked eye, assuming any number of the 4 moons aren’t directly in front of or behind the gas giant.
I can see a 3rd now that I’m on the PC with a better monitor. 
You can kind of see them on the one here too…very cool!
