odd as it may seem…this is the one in California.
Oregon doesn’t have one, but Washington does.

Wikipedia says:
Beginning around 1967, Ocean Beach morphed into the Haight-Ashbury of San Diego.

Hence the … fogginess.

There’s also a tradition here of gathering at a friend’s house in Ocean Beach on July 4th for a big Irish session and Old Time jam, and to watch the fireworks off the OB pier. Lots of fun.
