A "cross-platform" session

Back in November, 18 of Montreal’s trad musicians held a Québecois session in the Métro, with some of the musicians on the eastbound platform and others on the westbound.

You can see it here; a friend of mine sent me the link this morning and I thought it was delightful for the music, the spirit, and the reactions from people who happened by:

Wow. I would think it would impossible to
stay together in such an echo chamber.

That was brilliant Brad!

Thanks!

Thanks for that.

Wonderful cultural moments!!!

(Loved the old boy, who upon discovering the improved milieu, quickly turned his cap and sashayed through the metro… )

heres me clicking hoping somone had fially found a way to make a PC play in-tune with a Mac.

My PC is still a semitone flat, ive tried everything to fix it, sanding down the PCI cards, emersing it in water, removing all the screws on the left hand side of the case… still flat. still sounds beautiful solo though. I cant sharpen the mac as its untunable.

You could try a Tipple-Farjado wedge. Widening the holes with a scissor-blade can help, although you need to take care not to dislodge any pins. Or bang the Mac a few times against a brick wall. That often works wonders.

That used to be my stop. I also used to busk in the metro, but not at Papineau.
