Here I go again. I copied and pasted the 2nd tune onto that site and clicked submit. Came back “image unavailable”. Where did I go wrong??? Gm

I couldn’t find it there either, but here’s a link to a .gif at sessioneer:

I love these tunes, and they are kind of special to me because they are the first ones I learned off a CD (They are on Best of the Chieftains and Chieftains 9), the first set of tunes I learned, the first real Irish dance tunes I could actually play, and the first tunes I could get my kids to try to dance to (“Dad, hurry up, Transformers Armanda is on”).

(OK – I’ll admit it – I didn’t learn it entirely off the CD. I mostly did, but I did look up the sheet music to make sure I had the right key and to check myself.)

Can anyone tell me what “An Sean Duine” means?

There are a couple of problems. First, concertina.net insists on an “index” field, which you can set with “X: 1”. It also appears to have problems with the extra blank lines, and I think the asterisks “*” and “**” also cause problems.

Other than that it worked just fine

A chara,

‘An sean duine’ is a polite term for an oldtimer.

Guys, I’ve been trying to get this working with the [abc] and [/abc] tags, but obviously there’s something not right about what I’ve done.

I am at a loss–if anyone knows how to get it to work, please let me know.

Thanks.
