Homemade perhaps. Haven’t seen the Clarke factory provide wooden cases for their whistles. It would be strange to build a wooden case for a cheapie whistle, but who knows?
I saw it, got a good laugh. The box is from some outfit called “The Whistle Box Shop” which might be Uncle Joe’s garage during the day time.
In any case, the box looks to be worth about twice what the whistle it’s protecting is worth ![]()
Might be good for Cap’n Picard types.
//sheepishly raises his and, signifying his status as a Cap’n Picard type//
It looks pretty damn cool to me. I bet I have several other, more expensive whistles that would fit in it…
Thanks,
Micah
$14.95 sounds like a great price to me. The little case is kind of cool. If you had a Clarke that was tweaked just the way you liked it, it would make sense to try and protect it from getting banged up. Why not??
I have to agree. Besides, don’t you like to be a little bit different?!?!?

Just like Jim says.
I have this Jerry-tweaked Shaw D. It’s a fragile whistle; give too hard a push too close its blade and its voice will change. So I carry it in an expensive cigar case made of Moroccan leather.
Maybe I’ll bid: a case for a Clarke should fit a Shaw just purrrfecto.
