Hiya peeps,
Just thought I’d share a quick one with you. I recently got L.E. McCollough’s CD “Feadanista” and I’m afraid to say I’m a bit disappointed by it. 
Reason being, I was really expecting to be surprised and amazed by this album, especially after having read reviews about it and L.E.'s reputation. For me it doesn’t really do much in terms of being a landmark in folk fusion albums, I’d much rather listen to my much older albums by the moving Hearts of Davy Spillane’s solo work, much of which is also pre-Feadanista.
On a happier note 
I recently got the Positively Testcard’s CD Gas Up my Hotrod Stoker of whatever it’s called. Weird cover but a fantastic album. I was going to see the Testcard in concert at the Roayl Exchange in London on Tuesday but missed them because of rush hour traffic 
(This in itself doesn’t matter that much, cause I wet to see Sierra Maestra the previous Saturday and the Corrs on the Monday, followed up by a visit to Bar Salsa on Monday so I was still very happy ).
