Does anybody know of any links to Irish/Celtic songs that are in 7/8? I find it very fun to play in that time signature.

All that I have heard are multiples of two or three. No 5/8, 7/8 etc.
Write one!
Gentle Giant and Macedonian Oro by Flook are two that spring to mind.
I think I got them from http://www.thesession.org or http://tunedb.woodenflute.com/ , but it’s been a while since I got them.
Use the search option.
The session site might take a little while to search through if you use search all tunes option though.
If you have no luck, pm me and I’ll email the midis to you, then use something like midinotate to see the sheet music, and play along.

Lunasa have got a 5/8 on the CD Kinnitty Sessions - also to be found at ‘thesession’, I think.
You’d think the name would be enough to give away the fact it’s not Irish/Celtic… but as long as we’re on the subject, Boiled in Lead recorded one of these too (might even be the same tune, I suppose), “Cunovo Oro” on their album Orb. It’s a smoking little 7/8 tune.

Those are 'WAY cool tunes. I’ve played 5/8 stuff before, but never 7/8.Can’t imagine dancing to it though..
It reminds me of a comment by Peter Schickele about the dance music of his “discovered” composer PDQ Bach-- he said that the rhythm of this composers dance music strongly suggested that one of PDQs legs was considerably shorter than the other… 
Not a link, and (probably) not a traditional song, but The Sevens have a nice little song on their first (and only, I think) CD. It’s at waltz tempo, and just borrows a note from one bar that isn’t paid back until later, so it is very cool.

sounds like a 6/8 + 7/8 signature.
Also there’s Grey Larsen’s “Thunderhead”, which exists in two version - one as a straight jig and one in 7/8 with odd bars of 6/8 thrown in. Lunasa play the 7/8 version on their first album (last tune in the second set) and I think that Grey plays both versions on the eponymous album with Malcolm Dalglish.

On one of the Helicon CDs, Chris Norman plays a tune called Macedonian which is excellent. The time signature is listed as 7+7

Not sure about Celtic music, but I’d recommend looking up Eastern European music. A lot of their traditional dance tunes are in 7 or 11 or 13 or other meters than the standard Western 3 or 4.
Anyone know a print source for the 7/8 version?
A funny odd meter related incidence.. A couple of years ago I was driving a longish trip and scanning around the radio dial. All of the pop music I heard sounded the same, with the same thumpy 4/4 beat. I was lamenting the fact that nobody wrote stuff in odd time signatures when the VERY NEXT song that came on was Jethro Tull’s “Living In The Past”-- in 5/4!
I’ve written some tunes in “interesting” time signatures.
12/8 can be divided in many ways using 2 and 3 units; one I particularly like is 2+2+3+2+3/8.
7/8 can be parsed in different ways
2+2+3 = 7
2+3+2 = 7
3+2+2 = 7
8/8 (4/4)
2+2+2+2
3+3+2
3+2+3
2+3+3
9/8
3+3+3
3+2+2+2
2+3+2+2
2+2+3+2
2+2+2+3
And so on.
