Daughter and I both are learning this flute to help teach kids in the boys brigade. Daughter can play recorders and concert flute, I play recorders and mainly whistle, but we are doing okay with these flutes. Daughter sees stars if she blows too hard. I have to extend my elbow crutch to balance my arm on it to keep the flute in the right position but it works. I guess what I am saying is that I think a lot is talked about the 'long flutes’but there are shorter ones which can be altered and supported for people who have physical disabilities.:-
