Seamus Tansey said in the old days people would tune their fiddles up and play 3/4 flutes to be heard above the crowd.Anybody know what a 3/4 flute is?
John Skelton has one; it is a flute with a belltone of F (Provided some maker did not add something goofy like the “C foot” on a concert flute). They are lovely in sound.
