As I mentioned in another post, I attended the 2004 Florida Tionol. What a great experience. John Maze and the gang down there did a fantastic job organizing and many thanks to the School for opening up their facility to us. It really created a venue with a relaxed atmosphere and positive energy.
Of course we thought it amusing that the beginner piper class was held in the “Quiet Area”…

Yes, It was very good. My first ever, and John Skelton on the flute was great too. I was very glad to be a part of it all, and maybe one day in a few years I will be learning me some Uilleann pipes as well there!
