Here’s a video, taken at our session here in Co. Antrim last Saturday night, of Two Northumbrian Pipers
I guess these little Pipes aren’t very common at sessions.
Do you see them in action at your session … or have you ever seen them at a session?
Cheers
Dick
Hi Ptarmigan
Ken, our local NSP player, sometimes comes along to the Sunday night session in the Dram!. One time we had him, Alastair on mouth blown SSPs and Uilliam on uilleann pipes playing tunes together.
David
Hey David, they’re lucky, the three Pipers I play with around here have their pipes pitched in F NSP, A SSP & Bb Uilleann so there’s no common ground.
For a couple of years we had two young Pipers at one of the sessions here, who played tunes on a set of Border Pipes in A & Uilleann Pipes & that certainly was a great combination.
Cheers
Dick
