Scoiltrad.com has a special running until the end of December. Purchase one lesson module and they send you a second one (of your choice) for free.
I just got Sean Sa Cheo. I have not been able to learn it for 3 frustrating years. That time of difficulty helped me justify the $30. The bonus lesson is just icing on the cake. I just unziped it last night and actually made some real progress inside of twenty minutes.
Just looking through, it looks very well organized and produced. The sound and video quality is less than the best available, but that would prevent some folks with older computers (like me) from using this learning tool. I will say the sound and video quaility is more than adequate for a learning tool but slightly less than that acceptable for entertainment.
I have not unzipped the second one, which arrived in e-mail today (the first downloads at the time of purchase, but the second arrives by e-mail). Note, my e-mail account can hold the 7+ megabyte files without problem. If you’re e-mail can’t, you may want to ask them how to deal with that.
I will probably make a second purchase. Mostly just to be able to say at sessions “Does anybody know the ‘Farting Badger?’”

And yes, $30 for one tune (or two tunes until after December 31). That is a similar price for 30 minutes with an instructor. With the evaluation by Conal, I think it might be comperable. It all depends on how good the guidance from the evaluation is.
