The odd thing is that Britton doesn’t work in bone/ivory. The bellows are definately his, though.

The drones don’t seem to resemble Tim’s current models in the slightest (the aforementioned bone/ ivory, short u-bend, shape of the bells, etc.)
the bass drone is VERY short isn’t it or is it just me thinking that?
Could they be imported drones that Britton reworked?
Not likely. I have Tim’s re-worked drones and they look nothing like this. No, Peter, I was thinking the same thing. It almost looks like it’s missing a whole joint.
I thought it was odd that in the main picture of the pipes in their case the bass drone is missing, it looks like the whole part from the bend onwards is missing with the tuning slide stuck on to the bend to make it look OK. But then again maybe, just maybe they were laid out a bit clumsily for the photograph
Perhaps the whole bends section has been removed in the picture of the set in the case - Lambe made or makes sets that are tunable at that end as well. Notice there are two long straight sections in the stock.
It probably has something to do with how big the double-bend section is and where it’s placed. Still doesn’t seem much like a Britton to me, though.
The bend section in the case photo is probably under the bag.
