Please try the following:
- Click the
Refresh
button, repeatedly. This will
keep at least one of your hands busy and off the whistle you’re thinking
about playing. If you typed the
page address in the Address bar, make sure that it is spelled correctly
and has been appropriately translated from Irish/Gaeilic.
- To check your connection
settings, click the Tools menu, and then click Internet
Options. On the Connections tab, click Settings. If you know where to look, and there’s not a chance that will
happen because we’re talking about Windows, you can find out if your
Internet Service Provider has cut off your service due to non-payment of
your bill, most likely because of Obsessive Whistle Purchases (see OWP
Protocol).
- If you would like Windows to
try and discover how to cope with WhOA, you
might want to purchase WhOA XP Professional ($299 at your local
retailer). Otherwise click
Detect Network Settings . This
will do absolutely nothing and will resolve no problems whatsoever.
- If you are trying to reach a
secure whistle vendor’s website, make sure your Security settings can
support it. Click the Tools menu, and then click Internet
Options. Check the box to the
left of the “Enable On-Line Whistle Purchases) box.
- Click the
Back button to try to get
back to a normal way of life.
